United States of America Rapper Lil Yatchy will launch his digital asset, which will be based on the Ethereum blockchain.

According to the platform’s announcement that will oversee the minting,Fyooz.io, it said that the new Ethereum based token would be named after the Rapper. The Rapper, who goes by Miles McCollum, is the latest among many famous persons to issue his social token. A social token is regarded as a token branded with a famous person or celebrity and trades on crypto exchanges across the globe. In the laws that guide the social tokens, an influencer can accept the coins as it can be used as currency and exchange for goods and services.

Lil Yachty has massive fans across different listening platforms

In a statement that was released by the platform,Fyooz.io, it says that it was honored to welcome the rap superstar to its family. Reacting to the news on Twitter, Lil Yatchy noted that his fans in and outside the United States should know that he has partnered with the platform to create history. The Rapper said that he was getting paid as communicated by his legal representatives, and fans who want an exclusive with him will have to buy his new Yachty Coin, which will soon be available on the Fyooz App.

Notably, Lil Yachty boasts of a large pool of followers on major listening and streaming platforms worldwide. The Rapper boasts of 10.7 million listeners on Spotify, has close to $10 million followers on Instagram, and has nothing less than $5 million users on Twitter. According to the co-founder of Fyooz, Remo Prinz, he said that Lil Yachty is seen as the next face of cool and the sound of rhyme, adding that the Rapper is always in motion.

Despite the big announcement, Fyooz has not revealed vital details about the new token. Still left to be figured out is when the token is expected to launch and what the Rapper wants to do with it. With this collaboration, Lil Yatchy will become the biggest influencer to be featured on the platform. Previously registered influencers on the Fyooz platform are JAS CRW, a swiss trio that majors in afrobeat music, and a celebrity chef of swiss origin in the person of Meta Hiltebrand.

The company, Fyooz, is also the latest company to jump on the social token bandwagon as Roll, a social token investment which was founded last year was before Fyooz. Another platform is Rally, a social token website that allows its community to choose the people that can vote. Lil Yachty is also the latest Rapper in the social token world, with Akon and Ja Rule already there before him. As it stands, the rappers mentioned above have not launched their token, a development that puts Lil Yatchy right above them.
