Another Executive from a Major Financial Services Company Boards the Crypto-Cruise
The cryptocurrency industry has given yet another blow to the traditional financial services. This time it has done so by hiring an executive from one of the major multi-national financial services provider.
The cryptocurrency industry is proud to welcome Filomena Ruffa, a former vice president at Visa. At Visa, Filomena was a VP for the Latin American division for the innovation and strategic partnerships.
It has now been confirmed that Filomena Ruffa has just shook hands with Crypto.com. Once onboard, she will be responsible for looking after Crypto.com’s Latin American Market.
In a recent blog posted by Crypto.com on 28th of October, 2020, Filomena will be responsible for two major roles. She will be responsible for managing all of company operations and will ensure that strategic business partnerships are running smoothly in the Latin American region.
Crypto.com expressed its excitement while making the announcement of Filomena Ruffa joining their company. The company stated that it cannot wait for Filomena to start taking the responsibilities of their Latin American market.
The company is more than confident of her vast experience in one of the major multi-national financial firm, Visa. She will be making full use of her experience to streamline their business and marketing in the Latin American region.
On top of that, the company also commended her expertise that she has gained from payment service companies such as Safety Pay and CardinalCommerce while working in the top positions.
Crypto.com has made this announcement after hitting a user benchmark since its launch. The company reported that it had 1 million unique users back in September of 2019. The company was delighted to announce that it had crossed the 5 million unique users’ benchmark in October of 2020.
The company stated that after receiving such positive feedback and high user demand, the company has decided to expand its network. The company has already started targeting the Latin American region but needed someone who was native to the market.
